Mem-Core is a world I created within a span of a year, it was the answer I came up with when I thought, won’t selling memories be kind of neat? As I process further with the project, I wanted to ask the audience, What is the self? The project explores that idea with the fundamental base that the self is composed and informed by experiences one makes. I wanted to fill the story with visuals of a deteriorating mind presented in something that can be subtle and loud when needed. This storyboard wants to explore what is the cost of your memories, and are you willing to let them go completely.

Bio

Shannon Naomi Infantes Jara is a storyboard animator, breathing into reality the stories she wants to tell. Shannon is a Peruvian-American artist, loving animation and the storytelling that comes along with it from the get go, as being a big penguin enthusiast, they are looking to put their stories, historical, biographical or otherwise, through animation. Growing up they have always been living with animation within their life, now she hopes to bring that sense of wonder and amazement into others, as they did to her.
