Wild Food Foraging in Your Backyard

In my work I seek to bridge the gap between science and art, and I have made that a reality these past few months with this project. “Wild Food Foraging in Your Backyard” serves as both an enriching educational tool for my community, as well as an encouragement towards ecological sustainability. The hope is that my wild food guide will act as a friendly gateway into exploring nature, and all the benefits it has to offer, for people of all ages. This is only just the beginning, as I intend to make this an ongoing project after graduation. My plan is to offer the guide as a free downloadable PDF from my website allowing people to print it from home, their neighborhood library or use the services of a local print shop. Accessibility, and more specifically, accessibility to information, is an important part of my practice, and is the main reason this guide will not be behind a paywall.
