Hiraeth

Hiraeth is a short scrollable online comic inspired by historical folktales of the stars. This story takes place in the Scottish lowlands in the 18th century, and follows the life of a lower-class middle aged couple who had always wished for a child, yet weren’t able to have one. They had a tradition of wishing upon the stars, and one night, the stars finally heeded their pleas. Alas, not all is as perfect as it appears.

Bio

As both a self-proclaimed history and fantasy nerd, most of my art revolves around said subjects. In the future, I plan on releasing a Kickstarter to create a graphic novel; I hope to pursue a career within the realm of the work I did for my thesis (comics and or graphic novels).
