Wish Fulfillment: Horror Novel Covers

With my thesis project, I wanted to create a series of illustrations that I can use post-graduation. I love weird, horror-leaning stories, and want to tell my own, so I chose to make book covers based on my own story ideas. I made a long list of prompts, loosely categorized by horror subgenres, and asked people to vote on their favorites. In the end, I got 1,200 responses, which I used to narrow down to these book covers. These are all stories I wish I could pick up and consume already--whether in book, film, or other forms--and eventually, I hope to make that a reality for all of them. For now, they exist as initial introductions to these worlds and stories, and the viewer can imagine what the full narratives actually entail.
