The Book of Modern Monsters
My thesis project draws on my long-time love of mythological creatures, character design, and nature. It is intended to serve as a fictional field guide of non-existent animals; though my illustration work frequently features characters, I was particularly interested in the worldbuilding aspect of this project, diving deeper into the universe these creatures inhabit in addition to designing their physical appearances. It was a joy to work on a project that so closely aligns with my personal interests and goals for my illustration work.
